How the estimate works
Markers per edge = round up (length ÷ spacing) + 1. Multiply by the number of edges, then add your extras. Packs = round up (total markers ÷ pack size).
This includes a marker at both ends of each straight edge. For a 100-foot length at 10-foot spacing, that is 11 markers per edge, or 22 for both sides. A 20-pack would require two packs, leaving 18 spare markers.
Plan the layout before ordering
Measure curved edges along their actual path. For unequal sides, calculate each side separately and add the totals. Entrances, curves, obstacles, and shared segment endpoints may require adjustments. Coordinate winter placement with your plow contractor and check underground services before ground penetration.
